Capturing images from Windows Media Player (streaming) video

When trying to capture an image from a video playing in Windows Media Player using the Print Screen button, it often happens that the image comes out completely black. This is because of the video accelleration Here is a quick way to fix that problem.
When you use the PrintScreen button to capture a video in Windows Media Player (use CTRL and PrintScreen to only capture the active window) then the result is often like this:

This is happening because when the video plays it is actually displayed on a different layer that is produced by hardware acceleration. The simple solution to fix this is to turn off the video acceleration in Windows Media Player under Option » Performance. Just slide the bar all the way to None:

Now when you capture a screenshot it will include the video part:
