Did you know that you can very easily rename a batch of files right from Adobe Photoshop? It’s really easy to do.
1. Open the File Browser by hitting CTRL-SHIFT-O

2. Browse to the folder where you want to rename several files at once, and select those files you want to rename.
3. Right-click one of the selected files and select Batch rename

That will bring up the Batch Rename window.
4. Finally, select or type how you want to rename the files. You can either enter words manually, or select from a predefined list, such as extension, a serialized number, or part of the date. When you’re done, click OK and the files will be renamed.
