We took pictures of 26 different species of birds on our holiday in Sharm El Sheikh and South Sinai last week, nine of which are lifers (bringing our grand total to 326). Here they are:

Nice pictures! Though I´m quite certain that the raptor on the picture in the bottom is wrongly identified. In my opinoin it´s a 1 cy, dark morph, booted eagle (Hieraaetus pennatus), and not a black kite. Some features of this bird making the ID: # white shoulder-patch. # White tail-coverts. # The light, scaly-patterned feathers of the lower scapulars. # Feathered tarsi. # Raised nape-feathers.
