The "G"-series was printed in Australia by Wogan Publishing from 1953 to 1978. A total of 699 issues came out in this monthly series.
The first 10 issues in this series were titled Walt Disney's Giant Comics, but after that the title was variable, such as Uncle Scrooge, Christmas Time in Duckburg, Huey Duey & Louie Junior Woodchucks, Walt Disney Showcase: Goofy, etc. Despite the title, the comics still had only 32 pages as the other series. The cover was printed on the same type of paper as the comic pages, and the coloring of the magazines was very simple, usually with very bright colors changing from one panel to the next. All of the stories featured were stories from the United States. |
