Disney and Infomedia to launch Disney Adventures magazine in India

Walt Disney India has tied up with Infomedia India to launch an Indian version of Disney Adventures. Disney Adventures is currently published in the United States and Australia. The Indian version has been adapted to meet the requirements of Indian kids in the age group of 8-12. The new 100-page magazine will be published monthly from October 2006.

The first issue will feature content related to the popular Bollywood movie Krrish, other Disney movies, jokes, comic pages, gaming zones, computer and gadget write-ups, fashion, contests and other features.

Early expectations see the magazine being offered on newsstands for Rs 40, or by subscription. Disney India had recently released extensive Power Rangers merchandise in the region. And now, with ‘Disney Adventures’, the company will be able to extend its network in this country.
