Prinsesser (="Princesses") is a girls magazine in Denmark. It was launched in October 1999 and publishes stories featuring Disney's princesses from it's animated feature films. These stories, however, are not regular comic stories but rather stories without text balloons with a read along story in text boxes by every panel.
Every issue has a main princess, which is focussed upon in that issue. Princesser comes out monthly at the price of 25,95 kr. and also contains puzzles and coloring pages. The magazine has grown quite popular, which you can see from the fact that subscriptions were available soon after it's launch in 1999, something that has never been possible for Jumbobook or Anders And Ekstra. Every issue has a content and there's a letter page where readers can send in letters an pictures of themselves in princess-outfit. Special thanks to Anders Christian Sivebaek. |
