The Danish version of the very popular Italian "PK - Paperink New Adventures" title, was launched in Denmark in March 1997 under the name of "Stålanden på nye eventyr" (="Superduck on new adventures"). The first issue is shown on the left.
Unfortunately the series was cancelled in December 2001.
The magazine published monthly at the price of 29,50. The drawing style in this comic is very different from the classic Disney comic stories. They take place in a wild universe in the future, where Donald lives life in the Ducklair Tower and has the alter ego of a superhero. Some issues contain two stories, the cover story and one with the Kiwi or Xadhoom. Mostly there are also fact pages telling about the supporting characters or some of Stålanden's outfit or means of transport. |
