This magazine is released 5 times each year during vacation periods in France. The title features the Disney Club television characters and always includes a premium for the reader. In the summer of 1995, Disney Club Vacances got a new look. The bi-monthly magazine has changed it's format and contents. The new version has been expanded from 84 to 100 pages in a smaller, square-backed format that gives it the feel of a "collection" issue. The additional pages are dedicated to comics, with stories based on the classic films such as Aladdin and the Little Mermaid. Some comics are from the American Disney Adventures magazine, which is published in a much smaller format. This contributed to the change in Disney Club Vacances, allowing it to adapt to the small-format comic stories. Another change is the general concept of the magazine, which formerly focused on one theme such as pirates. The new version includes more leisure activities through games, practical information and "how-to" articles. |
