Disney Hachette Presse relaunched the P'tit Loup ("Little Wolf" in English) magazine a couple of years ago. P'tit Loup is third in the educational magazine line-up also including Bambi and Winnie. Due to declining interest from the targeted 7-10 year olds, DHP relaunched the monthly with a new slogan, The Magazine that says everything about everything. Each isue now includes features in a question/answer format on topics of interest to young children such as health, animals, and daily activities. The 52 pages contain 60% feature articles, and 40% games and comics, plus 18 collecting cards. The educational cards have a picture with a question relating to history, science, nature or sports on one side, and the answer on the other. The answers are written to suit the different age of readers.

To promote the redesigned magazine, two card collecting boxes were offered as premiums. One large box holds up to a years's worth of cards, the other holds one month's worth of 18 cards and can easily be carried in a pocket. Advertising ran on two radio networks, and on page 2 of the major television magazie Tele 7 jours with a contest. Three hundred thousand leaflets announcing the relaunch of P'tit Loup were included in the video release of The Great Mouse Detective in a special synergy operation with Buena Vista Home Video.
