Several anniversary albums have been produced by Ehapa in recent years, such as for the 50th anniversary of Gyro Gearloose in 2002 and 60 years of Donald Duck in 1994.

This 50th anniversary album for Uncle Scrooge celebrates the first appearance of the richest duck in the world in 1947, when Carl Barks invented him.

This album opens with a story from Don Rosa titled A Little Something Special.
