This high-quality hardcover album celebrates Donald Duck's 70th anniversary in 2004, since he first appeared in the Disney animated film „The Wise Little Hen“.

The book has a four-page opening by Hella von Sinnen and then starts of with a 12 page Vicar story (D2003-286) in which Donald Duck is ignored by his family who is secretly planning a birthday party on a yacht, which is stolen by the Beagle Boys and then brought back by Donald.

The book then features a story for each of the seven decades, with stories by Al Taliaferro (1930s), Carl Barks (1940s), Tony Strobl (1950s), Romano Scarpa (1960s), Volker Reiche (1970s), William van Horn (1980s), Don Rosa (1990s) and Jan Gulbransson (2000s).
