This exclusive German album-series is dedicated to stories by Keno Don Rosa, the American Disney comic artist from Kentucky, responsible for The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. Each book features two, three, four or five stories, depending on the length of each of them. Each story is introduced by a page of text written by Don Rosa himself, specifically for this series, which makes it special. Another aspect that makes this series special is the quality of each issue. Although the coloring is similar to the standard Egmont-coloring used in the weekly and monthly comics, the paper and cover are of extroadinary quality, making Rosa's stories an even greater pleasure to read than they already are. About twenty albums have been produced at the end of 1998 covering most of Rosa's stories. Each album sells for DM 16.80 (about 9 US$).

People in Germany, Austria or Switzerland can subscribe to Micky Maus, Donald Duck Sonderheft, Lustiges Taschenbuch and several other titles. All Disney comics by Ehapa are for sale in these three countries in all shops that sell magazines and books.

this is my most dear comic collection series. fine stories and great editorials. only downside was, when they changed the lettering from handlettered to something resembling comic-sans (although not quite as bad =P) from volume 28 onwards. until now there have been 33 volumes published (including vol. 0). but since at least two years no new volume has seen the light of day. i wonder why...
