This monthly magazine was first published in July 1989 as Tsip & Nteil (Chip & Dale) in standard comic format with 36 pages dedicated to the famous chipmunks. In July 1992, the title was changed to Ntisney (Disney); more pages and stories with various other characters were added. In July 1994, the title was once again changed to Charoumenes Istories (Happy Stories). In September 1999, the magazine adopted a large format of 23 by 30.5 cm, but the size was soon reduced to 20.5 by 28 cm. Charoumenes Istories is directed towards young readers in order to introduce them to the Disney characters. The magazine is printed on luxury heavy paper of 150 grams.
