Launched in 1995, Minni is aimed at girls from 7 to 12 years old. Initially, the magazine was published four times per year. Since 1997, it has been released monthly. The magazine contains Italian comic stories featuring Disney's female characters, editorial pages with news, pen pal pages and horoscopes, and other articles relevant to young girls' interests, such as movie stars, singers, fashion and beauty, but never cooking are included in the magazine. There is roughly a fifty-fifty ratio of comic pages to editorial material.
