Disney in Cucina was launched in 2003, a cooking title aimed at the whole family. It has initial print run of 150,000.

Disney in cucina was unveiled to the press at a conference in Milan in February 2003, where Valentina de Poli, divisional director at Disney, told the audience: "This is not a product aimed at a specific target group. We are aiming to stimulate the creativity of young people, to stimulate their desire to learn how to cook, but also to involve the whole family."

Every month one of the Disney personages will open its refrigerator. The first one on the list is Uncle Scrooge. Every month's issue comes with a free gift that can be used for cooking.
