PK features long Italian science fiction stories starring Donald Duck as a superhero, fighting "Evronian" aliens. PK is a spin-off from Paperinik. Paperinik consists mainly of reprints, while PK has very long, completely new stories.

PK was first launched in an experimental-phase in 1996. In that phase numbers 0/1, 0/2 and 0/3 came out! Issue 0/2 issue sold 130,000 copies in June of 1996. Following these positive results from the test issues, the series was officially launched as "PK Paperink New Aventures". The Italian press praised Disney's capacity to renew and develop its style while respecting the integrity of its characters.

PK Paperink New Adventures stars Donald Duck as super hero Paperink in futuristic adventures that have captured the interest of older readers. Each issue is of very high-quality, with glossy cover, shiny pages and bright attractive coloring.

The series was cancelled in 2001 and followed by PK2.

How to get this title

All of Italy's current Disney comics are easily available anywhere in Italy where books and magazines are sold. Italians can subscribe to Topolino and other titles at abbonamenti.disney.it.

Some of Italy's Disney comics, including Topolino, W.i.t.c.h. and I Classici Disney, are also available worldwide by international subscription through abbonamenti.it (site in English).

You can find lots of used Italian Disney comics at eBay.it and sometimes some on eBay.com too.

While the skills acclimatized to change them are certainly arousing, it is the unrevealed configuration underneath that transforms the bracelets from pure and bovine jewelry into stories.
