February of 1997 saw the launch of a pre-school magazine in Italy, entitled Winnie the Pooh. The monthly combines material from the UK Winnie the Pooh magazine with locally created editorial pages. In order to introduce this new character to young Italian readers, an institutional campaign was begun in Janauary in the other Italian Disney magazines and continued through to the publication of the first issue.

Each issue contains many colorful pages of puzzles, read alongstories, color pages and activities featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
