Disney Fan, 'The Magazine Of Dreams & Magic', is a high-quality Disneyana magazine from Japan, that is published monthly. Everything inside is in the Japanese language, except for some titles of sections and articles, which are in English. The oversized magazine measures 23 x 30 cm and contains 120 pages filled with info on Disney parks (especially Tokyo Disneyland) and Disney merchandise. According to the numbering, the first issue was launched in the early 90s. Christmas editions are book-bound. Each issue looks truely magnificent with glossy paper and many full-color beautiful photographs. The beginning of each issue usually features a pull-out page, showing a mini poster on each side; either from a Disney park or a recent Disney animated feature film. Disney Fan seems to be produced by a company called Kodansha. There are no comic stories in this magazine. |
