In April 1999, VNU published a special edition of an album within the same series in the local dialects of the Dutch province of Limburg. Several local publishers collaborated with VNU to publish Donald Duck es Kampeerder (#7 of "De Beste Verhalen van Donald Duck"), which contains seven different province dialects. The hugely succesful album sold out all copies and received tremendous press coverage. Limburg is the most southern province of the country. The album that was translated features Barks' Donald Duck story "Vacation Time" (WDVP1).
