Sanoma's monthly Disneyland was a strong pre-school title during the years that it was published from 1987 to 2003. It combined stories, games and educational editorials. Print runs were above 80,000 copies.Disneyland attracted both parents and children for its family entertainment value. It was aimed at young children aged 3 to 6. Stories were based on characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood, and other characters adapted from Disney's animated feature films, while the bed-time stories and puzzles featured Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. |
