About Egmont Verlag
In the later half of the 1980s, Egmont Verlag in Austria published Micky Maus magazine in this country. For decades all German Disney comics, produced by Ehapa Verlag in Germany, have been distributed to Austria and Switzerland, bot German speaking countries as well.
The Austrian edition of Micky Maus was almost identical to the German version. It had different ads and some had different covers, which were sometimes air-brushed. In 1998, rights to Micky Maus returned to Ehapa/Egmont in Germany, and so has the content.
