About The Walt Disney Company Italy

The magazine operation in Italy, The Walt Disney Company Italy, is the only
Disney owned and operated magazine publisher in Europe and the Middle East.
Brought inhouse in 1988 from Mondadori, the original publisher of Disney
magazines since 1932, the Italian Disney magazines have not stopped gaining
market share. Disney Italy alone creates nearly 17,000 pages of new comic
material each year.


The flagship title, Topolino, first came out in 1932 and is very
popular among both children and adults.
