Egmont Magazines launched monthly Disney Fairies for five- to seven-year-old girls on 7 June 2006. The launch was supported by a marketing campaign within Egmont's Daisy magazine and other Disney titles.The magazine's content is centered around Tinker Bell, the fairy character from Peter Pan, and her fairy friends. Each issue features a collectable pull-out story, games, puzzles, posters and colouring pages. Debbie Cook, group publisher at Egmont Magazines, said: "We are delighted to have the opportunity to build our Disney portfolio by developing this unique new produce using our understanding of the target audience." The initial print run was 110,000 with a cover price of £1.99. |
