Walt Disney Comics & Stories and Uncle Scrooge are Gemstone's two prestige format comic books. The title was picked up again by Gemstone Publishing in June 2003 after Gladstone had left it in 1999.

Uncle Scrooge McDuck was created by the legendary Carl Barks in 1947. The tightwad got his own very popular title in 1952. It has since been published by Dell, Gold Key, Whitman, Gladstone, Disney and now Gemstone.

Th magazine reached it's 300th issue landmark in 1997 and contains all kinds of stories ranging from European material to Barks reprints and stories by Don Rosa.
