Walt Disney's Comics Penny Pincher was published by Gladstone in 1997. Only 4 issues came out.

The inside cover of each issue said:

"Gladstone's Walt Disney's Comics and Stories Penny Pincher series is dedicated to brining you the most number of comic book pages possible for under a dollar! Every 20-page issue will contain at least 17 pages of comic material; most will contain 18; and some will even feature 19 pages! Pictured right is a preview from the next issue. Though pictured here in black and white, this page will run in full color (and full size) in the interior of next month's issue!"

Only 4 monthly issues came out of this series from May 1997 till August 1997. The first three contained Barks stories, the last William Van Horn stories only. The first three issues were subtitled "Donald Duck and Neighbor Jones".
