/19 Checking into the Hilton Back Bay hotel on the afternoon of Friday 4 April. I had room 2307 on the 23th floor with a very nice view of the city.
/19 The first few days were very cold with a lot of snow, rain and hail. This is the Massachusetts State House seen from the Boston Common park.
/19 Fenway park where the Red Sox play baseball as seen from my hotel room. The first game of the season would be played the next Friday, so unfortunately no chance to see a game.
/19 Fenway park was about 20 minutes walking from the hotel, which is what I did on Saturday morning.
/19 After crossing the Charles River on the Harvard Bridge I arrive in Cambridge which is a town on the other side of the river from Boston. This is M.I.T., the famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

/19 Two bus/boats from Boston Duck Tours in the river as seen from the Museum of Science.

/19 Acorn Street in Beacon Hill, which is an old area of Boston built on a hill. One brochure I read said this is the most photographed street in the United States.
/19 This is the Bull and Finch Pub, which was used as the outside of Cheers for the tv show. The inside was used as inspiration for the show but it didn't look much like on tv to be honest.
/19 Statue "Make Way for Ducklings" in the Public Garden, bronze statues by Nancy Sch?n.
/19 Harvard Bridge and Charles River seen from hotel room on Sunday morning.
