These reprints of the American Walt Disney Comics & Stories were launched in Australia and New Zealand by Otter Press in April 2004, and cancelled in August 2005. They were published quarterly and were exact copies of the issues that Gemstone publishes in the United States, with some extra advertisements and a different logo and price on the cover.
The commemorative first Otter Press edition contained a mixture of some of the best stories produced featuring Disney’s Standard characters, including Donald Duck , Mickey Mouse , Grandma Duck, Li’l Bad Wolf, Gyro Gearloose, and more, written and drawn by outstanding talent such as Pat Block, Daan Jippes, Noel Van Horn and William Van Horn. |
