Hong Kong Disneyland to build 3 new attractions by this summer
Posted on February 27th 2006 in Asia Pacific, Disney parksToday Hong Kong Disneyland announced that it plans to add three new attractions to their small theme park as part of its long-term expansion plan. The additions include Autopia, Stitch Encounter and UFO Zone.
“This is a long-term improvement measure designed to do two things: increase capacity by a steady program of expansion and enhance the guest experience with thrilling new attractions and features,” said Bill Ernest, the park’s managing director.
During the Chinese New Year earlier this month, Hong Kong Disneyland had a problem when angry visitors were denied entrance to the full park and started clambering over its iron fence.
