Disney Mobile to launch this summer
Posted on April 8th 2006 in Disney productsThis June, Disney will launch its new Disney Mobile, allowing parents to track their child’s movements, decide who they can call, and prioritising messages that reach the phone. The service will provide parents with real-time maps and locations of family members using GPS technology built into the handsets.
The phones will be targeted at kids aged 10 and up, and will offer multiple services and content, as well as access to Disney’s ring tones, wallpapers and games.
Each week on its site, Disney Mobile is giving away a pair of handsets and a year of free service. Those who enter are given a special launch offer for a limited edition carrying case and “email updates with news about our launch.”
