Amazon has some new artwork of two of Boom! Studios’ upcoming hardcover books: The Life & Times Of Scrooge McDuck: Volume 1 and Walt Disney’s Christmas Classic. Each of the two books can now be pre-ordered for $16.49.

The Christmas book, which comes out in three weeks, has a neat “Look Inside” feature that allows you to see some pages inside. It looks like Boom has selected a nice variety of classic Christmas stories. The contents are:

The Life & Times Of Scrooge McDuck: Volume 1

Walt Disney’s Christmas Classic

Don Rosa’s Life of Scrooge series earned him the Will Eisner Award in 1995. It was last reprinted in the United States by Gemstone in 2005 and is still in high demand. I like the cover, with Scrooge posing in front of an album with photos of his life. This cover first appeared in Scandinavian editions of the series in 1997.

Christmas Classics (128 pages, hardcover) is available on Amazon for $16.49 and will be released on November 24th, 2009. The first volume of Don Rosa’s Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck (112 pages, hardcover) is also available for pre-order on Amazon for $16.49 and will be released on February 2nd, 2010.
