Wonderful Arts!!! OFFTOPIC: I noticed that “Mickey Mouse and friends #300” will be published on September 29th! http://www.comiclist.com/index.php/news/haven-distributors-to-offer-new-backlist-boom-titles IMHO this is a great news to publish in this blog.
I hope that “Mickey Mouse and friends” will publish wonderful stories, not stories such as “Wizards of Mickey” (considered rubbish by italian fans). There are many stories by Romano Scarpa still unpublished in the USA, if I were Boom I would publish these stories such as those featuring Atomo Bleep-Bleep or those with “Bruto” (Ellsworth’s godson). Scarpa made also four strip stories inspired to Gottfredson ones, for example he made “Mickey Mouse and the Brigaboom mystery” and “Mickey Mouse in “Hi, Minnotchka””. He wanted them to be published in US newspapers, but KFS didn’t accept his proposal. I would publish them and some stories featuring “The Time Machine” invented by professors Zapotec and Marlin of Mouseton Museum. http://coa.inducks.org/subseries.php?c=Macchina+del+tempo
There are many wonderful and new (for the USA) foreign stories to publish, I hope Boom will choose the right ones… I’m sorry if I made some syntax or grammar errors, but my english is still far from being perfect (my native language is italian).
