Le Journal de Mickey is a weekly comic magazine that has been published in France since October 21, 1934, with a break in publication from 1945 to 1952. It has become a part of French tradition. Each Wednesday, Journal de Mickey is placed in kiosks, full of editorials on local and international topics. Throughout the years, the magazine has undergone many changes. It has a high level of reader interaction with weekly debates run through letters from readers. It features original stories with Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse that are produced in France, as well as imported stories from the US, Holland, Italy en Denmark.Le Journal de Mickey has an average circulation of 185,000 with a subscription base of 99,500 (source). |
