Six of the original ten funny adventure stories by Adolf Kabatek were printed in this series from 1983 to 1988. The complete series of ten stories was reprinted 20 years later in the new series of Abenteuer aus Onkel Dagoberts Schatztruhe ("Adventures from Uncle Scrooge's Treasure Chest"). In these original stories full of word jokes, Kabatek takes his fans around the world to München, Barcelona, Manhattan and even on the Matterhorn.
