Some of the funniest adventures of the Duck family were written in the 1980s by Adolf Kabatek in the series Abenteuer aus Onkel Dagoberts Schatztruhe ("Adventures from Uncle Scrooge's Treasure Chest"). In ten existing stories full of word jokes, Kabatek took his fans around the world in his stories to München, Barcelona, Manhattan and even on the Matterhorn. From 1983 and 1988 six albums came out in Germany in this series. Four stories by Kabatek were never before printed in Germany.
This series reprinted the original six stories and completed the series with the missing four. The series was started in 2004 and completed in 2006 after 10 issues. An exclusive insight into the creation of these stories is given in the opening articles by Andreas Börschel, who at the time travelled around the world and gave Adolf Kabatek background information for his stories.
