Olamo shel Disni (="World of Disney") is a Hebrew monthly magazine. It was launched in Israel on February 28th of 1997 by a joint venture between Egmont and Yedioth Ahronoth. The 48-page magazine combines comic stories from Egmont and local editorial with activity pages. Its concept is the result of extensive research among Israeli children and parents. The launch of The World of Disney was supported by a TV advertising campaign, live Disney Standard Characters, posters, stickers and in-store displays, and enjoyed significant coverage in the Israeli media. The first issue had a print run of 40,000 copies and was available at 4,000 points of sale throughout the country.
