Poo Hadov ("Winnie the Pooh") is a monthly magazine in Hebrew. It was successfully launched by Yedioth-Egmont in Israel in February of 1999. The launch was conducted in collaboration with McDonald's and Co-Op, a leading retailer in Israel.
McDonald's distributed more than 100,000 copies of the magazine for free in its restaurants throughout the country, set up specially designed Winnie the Pooh stands, used tray mats based on the new magazine, and ran an extensive TV advertising campaign and print ads in the leading newspaper. Co-op distributed more than 80,000 copies of the magazine, getting Winnie the Pooh off to a great start in Israel.
