PK² was launched in 2001 and followed PK: Paperink New Adventures. The comic books are in the same style as the first series, with long Italian science fiction stories starring Donald Duck as a superhero. The stories are in a more modern style than the more common Disney comics around the world.
Many things have changed in PK² from the first series, starting with the fact that many characters who were in the first series are missing or have been replaced with others. Donald Duck is kicked off the Ducklair Tower, when Everett Ducklair returned from the monastery where he had gone at the beginning of the PK series. Meanwhile, Donald Duck finds a new job as a guard in a shopping center in the first issue of the series.
PK² which launched in January of 2001 and cancelled after 18 issues in 2002, followed by the third series PK Pikappa.
