A new bi-monthly magazine entitled Topolino Adventure was launched in Italy in 1995. Geared to children aged six to 13, the magazine offers a mix of comics and editorial pages, with contests and games focusing on adventure. The stories come from the Disney data bank and all highlight such adventurous characters as Indiana Pipps. The initial print run of the magazine was 150,000 copies, with a cover price of Lit. 4,000. Note: Topolino Adventure has an interesting history: The monthly Topo Mystery, a supplement to the Grand Classici-series, appeared in 1991 and inspired France to launch Mickey Mystery of a mysterious or adventurous nature. Due to the success of Mickey Mystery, Disney Hachette Presse then decided to launch the bi-monthly Mickey Adventures in 1993 based on different Disney characters, usually Donald. It is Mickey Adventures which has now inspired the launch of Topolino Adventures in March of 1994, bringing the magazine full-circle to its roots.
