A joined venture between Egmont and the Milliyet Media Group publish the Disney comics in Turkey. Milliyet is the nation's largest newspaper publisher and brings a strong distribution capicity to the partnership with Egmont, which is known for its solid publishing infrastructure. The launches follow the introduction of the Lion King progam in January of 1995. The program included four titles, which sold 400,000 copies in total in one month.
