Farbror Joakim (Uncle Scrooge) was launched in Sweden in 1976 and cancelled in November 2001. It's appeal was due to its convenient pocket size and quality Uncle Scrooge comic stories. It published the best of Italian adventure stories featuring Uncle Scrooge. It changed format in 1998 enlarging it's size, making it a little bit bigger than a standard digest-sized Disney magazine.
The comic has no editorials, only comics, and was published by Serieforlaget AB.
