Fleetway launched Big Time in the U.K. in response to positive tests in 1996. Following positive results from four test issues of Big Time magazine in two regions in the U.K., publisher Fleetway conducted a national launch of the magazine in October 1996.
The launch was supported by TV advertising and a targeted piblic relations and distribution campaign. Big Time is a large format, 'lifestyle' bi-weekly geared to children aged seven to 11 years. With a bold, attractive cover, it combines regular editorial features with a comic insert.
