Two issues of this title came out at the end of the Gladstone II period. Gladstone had had the Disney license in the US since 1993 when they suddenly cancelled all their titles in the first half of 1998. The two issues of this short series came out: #1 in January 1998 and #2 in March 1998. The opening story in the first issue was "The Twenty-four Carat Moon" by Carl Barks. The second issue (see picture left) had a cover by Don Rosa and featured "A Little Something Special" as its opening story, also by Rosa. A third issue was planned and announced in the second issue. It should have contained "The Black Widow" and "Outfoxed Fox". Unfortunately that issue never came out.
"The Adventurous Uncle Scrooge McDuck" was a comics-only magazine with an article by Geoffrey Blum in both issues, that was printed in b&w on the front and back inside covers.
