Big Boy statue in Holland

Yesterday we saw a Big Boy statue in Kaatsheuvel. Instead of holding a plate with a burger, he’s got a giant Coca-Cola strapped on.

I got a kick out of seeing this classic American image being used as a mascot for a very typically Dutch institution - a snackbar.

(Look Dad - they serve broodjes!)

I was also surprised to see that the Big Boy chain is alive and well. Have you ever seen a Big Boy statue in an unusual place?
